“I am reminded of the interconnectedness of the whole creation. We simply cannot divorce human needs from the needs of the other-than-human world and try to prioritise one over the other. We are all living parts of this wonderful world that God has made, and we must learn how to live together in it.” (Ruth Valerio ‘Just Living’)

Within our team ministry each of our churches are choosing different EcoChurch pathways that reflect their strengths. Inevitably there is much overlapping and that is to the benefit of us all. Changes are always going to occur but our overall desire is to embed, in all that we do, Love for our Creator and to be active in caring for God’s creation in all its forms.

We seek to do this through sustainable hospitality, responsible use of resources, enthusiastic and reflective worship and working with worldwide fellowships and our local communities.

“All powerful God,

you are present in the universe

and in the smallest of your creatures.

You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.

Pour out upon us the power of your love,

that we may protect life and beauty.

Fill us with your peace, that we may live

as brothers and sisters, harming no one...”

Pope Francis Extract from 'A Prayer for the Earth'
